In the rush to move learning online, we forgot to ask one important question. Is this effective?

Pre-recorded video learning has a below 15% completion rate, and is pushing us deeper into our silos. Online learning is often done alone, highly specialized and with little direct teacher or student interaction.

We created village to address that issue.

Empty room with a large window, white walls, and hardwood floors.

WE CREATED VILLAGE TO CONNECT COMMUNITIES THROUGH A LIFESTYLE OF LEARNING.

A person wearing protective goggles, a mask with pink filters, and a navy shirt is polishing a wooden surface with a power buffer. The person has tattoos on their hand and appears focused on their work.
A wooden cutting board with a handle, held by a person's left hand against a brick wall background.
  • The Village identity was designed to make everyone feel welcome.

  • The Village app is key to the success of the brand. The easy to use UX/UI makes it easy for anyone to create a course on any subject.

WE THINK LEARNING IS MORE FUN WHEN YOU’RE NOT ALONE WATCHING HOURS OF PRE-RECORDED VIDEOS.

A laptop and a smartphone display online class and social engagement platforms, with a person drawing and three women in group video calls.
A woman painting on a wall at an indoor art event, wearing a large wide-brimmed hat and casual clothing.
